– a brief biography
I have always got a buzz from seeing the potential of people I work with flourish. I began coaching after working in the NHS, delivering major change programmes and 5 years as an independent man agement consultant. Some of my most interesting work was creating leadership development for professionals and embedding diversity and equality into organisations.
As a coach I work with individuals and teams. My focus is on enabling my clients to identify and own their goals and the values that inform them, and through this to achieve more, be more effective and experience greater purpose and satisfaction in life.
With organisations I have discovered that releasing the passion of the people in the business unlocks the change that leads to the way forward.
I am also a musician, playing violin in several quartets and orchestras. My own ‘tightrope’ of music, family, friendship and work, is a balancing act I work at constantly to maintain, reflecting the balance I work with clients to find in their lives and organisations.
My training and qualifications:
I am an Associate Credentialed Coach with the International Coaching Federation, and completed the NLP Master Practitioner level and the European NLP Coaching Certification Training. I have a Masters degree in Psychology and an MBA; and I am a Certified Member of the Institute of Business Consultancy.
Quality assurance:
I have a process for evaluating my coaching sessions which I ask all my clients to participate in – I enjoy learning from the feedback given and constantly strive to improve my coaching
I am also a member of a coach supervision group which meets regularly to raise and review issues that arise in our coaching
